Whitelist (approve) my email address

Whitelist means to allow my emails into your email inbox.

Why should you do it? Because most emails from mailing lists end up in the Promotion tab or Spam folder. This way, you’ll be sure to receive my emails in your inbox (instead of them ending up who knows where;-) ).

How to receive my emails?

Easy!

As every email service is different, I have taken the time and provided some examples as what to do below.

Find your email service (Gmail, Yahoo!, Hotmail…) and see what to do.

Gmail:

  • In your inbox, locate an email from matea@mateateller.com – like your welcome email just received from me!
  • Drag this email to the “primary” tab of your inbox.
  • You will get a notification, asking “Do this for future messages from matea@mateateller.com?” Click Yes.
  • You’ll see that my emails will go to your primary folder in the future!

Hotmail:

  • Open a message from matea@mateateller.com .
  • Click Mark as safe next to the From name and address.
  • Now click Add contact.

Yahoo! Mail:

  • When opening an email message, a “+” symbol should display next to From: and the sender’s name.
  • Select this and an “Add to contacts” pop-up should appear. Select “Save”

Mac Mail:

  • Select “Mail” and “Preferences” from the top menu.
  • In the “Preferences” window, click the “Rules” icon.
  • Click the “Add Rule” button.
  • In the “Rules” window, type a name for your rule in the “Description” field.
  • Use the following settings: “If any of the following conditions are met: From Contains.”
